There are many ways to download Facebook video on mobile phones or PCs. But since I don’t like complications, let’s go straight to the easiest method.
As of now, there is one method that is the fastest, best, and capable of downloading the highest quality videos that I’m going to divulge to all of you.
Other methods, I assure you, are of lower quality and at best, you can only download 480p.
If you’re lucky, maybe 720p, but sometimes even those come without sound.

Why is it rare to find HD quality Facebook video downloads?
Because when downloading videos above 720p, the sound is not included, which is why many services only provide up to 480p.
Accidentally, I discovered a super cool website that can download videos up to 4K resolution.
Even my laptop started lagging while playing these videos, as its screen maxes out at 1080p only. 😂
At first, I thought the video was corrupted, but it turned out that the downloaded quality was 4K.
However, the quality obviously depends on the uploader. If you can only download 480p, then that’s the original size of the video uploaded.

Okay, please follow these steps to download videos from Facebook :
1. Download Facebook Video Through Android Phone
- Open Facebook ⇒ find the video you want to download ⇒ click the three dots in the upper right corner of the post ⇒ select Copy Link
Before copying the link, ensure the video post you want to download is Public, because if it’s not Public, it cannot be downloaded (for more details, please see the following image)
- Exit the FB app ⇒ open a browser and visit the Facebook Video Download site
- Paste the link you’ve copied earlier, then click the download icon
- You will be presented with several resolution options for the video, choose as you desire
If you see a “Processing” note behind a resolution option, it means that video in that resolution requires some time to process the merging of sound and visuals. No need to worry, just a bit of waiting is needed
- Once the process is complete, all you need to do is click Download Video
- The file will automatically be saved in your gallery
2. Download Facebook Video Through PC & Laptop
The method is essentially the same as above (only the interface differs).
But in case you’re still confused, let me show you how to do it.
- Open Facebook ⇒ choose the video you want to download, then click the three dots and select Copy Link
Don’t forget, ensure the video is shared as Public so we can download it
- Visit the snapsave.app website
- Paste the link into the provided box, then click the download icon
- Choose the video resolution
- Wait for the process to complete. Once ready, simply click Download Video
